The WR-08 Proxi-Flange™ is an Eravant-trademarked, patent-pending, F-band contactless flange straight waveguide section with WR-08 waveguides and UG-387/U-M precision Anti-Cocking flanges. The special flange uses an array of small pin-like structures to realize RF choking, thereby eliminating issues of poor return loss and high insertion loss due to imperfect flange contact. By removing the need for screws, Proxi-Flange ensures improved durability, measurement consistency, and test repeatability. When used with a Wave-Glide™ fixture, WR-08 Proxi-Flange is ideal for automatic test lines and production environments where frequent connect/disconnect occurs.
