The WR-05 Proxi-Flange™ is an Eravant-trademarked, patent-pending, G-band contactless flange straight waveguide section with WR-05 waveguides and UG-387/U-M Anti-Cocking flanges. The flange uses an array of small pin-like structures to create RF choking, thereby preventing poor return loss and high insertion loss caused by imperfect flange contact. The screwless design improves the durability, consistency, and repeatability of measurements — especially beneficial in automated testing or high-volume production environments.
