The WR-06 Proxi-Flange™ is an Eravant-trademarked, patent-pending, D-band contactless flange straight waveguide section with WR-06 waveguides and UG-387/U-M Anti-Cocking flanges. It utilizes a special waveguide flange populated with small pin-like structures to provide RF choking, avoiding problems associated with imperfect mechanical contact (such as poor return loss or high insertion loss) when flanges are mated. By removing the need for screws, Proxi-Flange improves measurement consistency, repeatability, and durability — making it well-suited for test instrumentation, automated test setups, and volume production testing.
