The WR-12 Proxi-Flange™ is an Eravant-trademarked, patent-pending, E-band contactless flange straight waveguide section with WR-12 waveguides and UG-387/U Anti-Cocking flanges. It uses the same pin-array flange design to create RF-choking actions, thereby avoiding poor return loss and high insertion loss when flanges are mated. By eliminating the need for waveguide screws, the design enhances measurement consistency, device durability, and test repeatability. When used with a Wave-Glide™ fixture, WR-12 Proxi-Flange becomes particularly suitable for volume production and automated test lines with frequent connection cycles.
