The WR-05 Proxi-Flange™ is an Eravant trademarked, patent-pending G-band contactless flange straight waveguide section using WR-05 waveguides and UG-387/U-M anti-cocking flanges. Its flange is constructed with an array of small pin-like structures to realize RF-choking action, avoiding poor return loss or insertion loss caused by imperfect flange contacts. By eliminating conventional mating screws, the Proxi-Flange™ improves durability, measurement consistency, and repeatability. The model STQ-WG-05025-FB-CF covers the frequency range of 140 to 220 GHz with an insertion length of 2.5”. It’s suited for high-frequency lab use and production scenarios with frequent disconnections.
