The WR-06 Proxi-Flange™ is an Eravant trademarked, patent-pending D-band contactless flange straight waveguide section that uses WR-06 waveguides and UG-387/U-M anti-cocking flanges. Its flange is populated with pin-like structures providing RF choking actions to avoid poor return loss and insertion loss caused by imperfect mating of waveguide flanges. By eliminating the need for captive screws, the Proxi-Flange™ significantly improves durability, measurement consistency, and test repeatability. Model STQ-WG-06025-FB-CF covers the frequency range of 110 to 170 GHz with an insertion length of 2.5”. It is optimized for use in volume production and automatic test lines with frequent connect/disconnect cycles.
